A beautiful sustainable sock yarn, with a little biodegradable polyamide in the mix for longer lasting socks!
My new ‘Sokka’ base consists of 80% Finsheep wool and 20% biodegradable polyamide.
This yarn is wonderfully woolly, and has a slightly rustic feel. Not only perfect for cozy socks, but also beautiful for mittens, hats or shawls!
80 % Finnish wool
20 % biodegradable polyamide
A 100 gram skein contains about 360 meters
needle size 2 – 3,5 mm (for socks I recommend using 2mm needles, or any size needle that gives you a gauge of about 35st per 10cm)
