Madder Roots (Rubia Tinctorium)

This is an ancient dye source for beautiful earthy shades of red, orange, and brown. Also, shades like soft pink or peach can be achieved.

My favorite dye source ever, because of the great colors that can be achieved as well as the smell! Getting red from madder roots might require some skill and/or practice.

This listing is for 100 grams of finely chopped roots.
